I finally got my act together and put everything together....well, almost everything together...my website is still "under constuction." :)

Once I decided that I was going to make this hobby of mine a little business I started brainstorming business names. I wanted something original but also something with a little meaning behind it. Obviously, I didn't find that in LG Photography. :) I know, it is a smart move to name a business after yourself because then people associate your name with that business, but I knew I wanted something different. I put a call out to my facebook friends and that is where I found my new business name! Thank you to my dear friend (and distant cousin), Elsha Stockseth, for coming up with the perfect name for me!!! Abbela is a mash up of my two little girls, Abbey and Ela. They are the reason I fell in love with photography, they are the reason I have spent the last 2 years teaching myself and taking photography classes, they are the reason my life is so very blessed!

Love these girls!!! I was downstairs folding laundry and Ela walked in, climbed up in the chair and said "me picture momma?" Ummm....WHAT? I scrambled around to get all the equipment together and ready so I could seize the opportunity before she changed her mind. These pictures capture my girls perfectly at this moment in our lives. (Don't mind the unruly appearance of my girls, we may or may not spend a lot of time in our pajamas with uncombed hair.)
